CPH:DOX – Online
CPH:DOX is the annual Copenhagen International Documentary Festival. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the festival was not able to take place in physical space, so the organizers very quickly had to come up with an alternative way of hosting the festival. The festival is now taking place online on their digital platform, where a large part of the originally scheduled 220 films are now available for screening.
CPH:DOX recently launched a section on their website for selected films that are internationally available, which means you won’t have to use a VPN to be able to watch them. They range in prices from 3-6 euros (200-600 INR).
The festival not only screens documentary films – they also anchor them in social contexts through a series of debates, artist talks, events and masterclasses. This year, some of these debates and talks have been broadcasted live on digital platforms such as Facebook and Youtube.
